MISSION STATEMENT
Gallery Owner James G. Tylich’s interest in fine artworks began in his youth, travelling to Europe with his family. He is still visiting museums and galleries worldwide, and wants his clients to enjoy paintings and sculpture at that same level, in their own private collections. He has supported countless artists in their burgeoning careers, giving them opportunities to paint live and display in international resort communities including Vail, Aspen, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, and Santa Fe. Mr. Tylich’s own connection watching Marc Chagall install a portion of the Paris Opera House ceiling inspired him to a) support working artists and b) give the public a similar experience.
GALLERY HISTORY
Mr. James Tylich opened his flagship gallery in the Vail Village in December, 1989. From there, he had up to 6 galleries in operation simultaneously in Aspen, Santa Fe, Beaver Creek, and Breckenridge. Currently, the vast majority of Mr. Tylich’s collection is sold through his large space in Edwards, Colorado, just West of Vail.
