Vail Fine Art Gallery’s Owner James Tylich extends a special thank you to John Edwards for his dedication in bringing George Gallo, the movie “Local Color” and The Vilar Performing Arts Center together in a dramatic collaboration called “The Legacy of The Russian Masters.”

Recognizing the importance of mentoring--the theme featured in the movie--James Tylich invited Russian trained artist Don Sahli and eventually Don’s student Katie Dowling to participate in this ground-breaking event.  Among the highlights was the following “Paint-Off” between George Gallo and Don Sahli, inside Vail Fine Art Gallery.
