Kolotilov, Alexander Biography

Alexander Kolotilov is one of the brightest representatives of Moscow art school.

In 1990 A. Kolotilov was invited to work in the USA.  For over a year he lived and worked in California.  The artist was deeply impressed with bright colorful works by American painters, with the atmosphere of happiness and joy created by those paintings.  A diligent worker, he began to study the American art and apply what he learned to his own painting.  As the result we see beautiful paintings in which the best traditions of Russian art school are perfectly combined with somewhat bold colors and emotional expressiveness.
